Eye On Palin - Her Anti-Wolf, Anti-Wildlife Agenda

March 23, 2009 Major update!!!!!! 84 wolves where killed in Alaska!! And the goverment of Alaska has decided to start gasing wolf dens and putting up snares around the dens! We must stop this! By this calculation there will be over 1000 wolves killed in Alaska alone. Then you have the USA statistic that 1000 wolves will be killed also. That is 2000 dead wolves in the USA alone! At this rate there will be no more wolves in the USA in not to many years. Maybe even 2014!! We need to stop this from happening!

March 2, 2009: Two more wolves have been tortured to death in Turkey. It happened on Feb. the 13th! It was a horrible way to die. They had a chain rapped around their hind leg and dogs were sent on them to kill them. I have given them nicknames to identify them. Sammy and Mia. Mia was the first to die. Next was Sammy. The part that really upset me it that there must have been 100 people there watching and not one tried to stop it. We must keep acts like this from happening!

Febuary 11, 2009: Ok this really doesn't have anything to do with the news but I got my friend Tim to help me with the wolves. He is a really good speech and debate person and he is willing to help me! He is helping teach people in my school that wolves are not evil demons.

Also, Sarah Palin must be stopped! She wants wolves dead! We must stand up against her and fight for the wolve because if we don't who will? We must help these magnificent creatures in this world that we all share!

January 30, 2009: Ok last night I (Thowan) got a newsletter from the defenders of wildlife group. It turns out Sarah Palin has killed 50 wolves so far! 14 of which were wolf pups! The DW (defenders of wildlife) is in need of great donations for the wolves so they can help them. Also the wolves have been getting hunted down without reason. With Aerial Hunting a wolf can be run out of hiding and run at 40 Mph before they are shot. The shot usually doesn't kill them the first time so they suffer. Sometimes even the wolf tries to get away so hard that they kill themselves in the process of running. Does anyone or anything deserve a fate like this?

January 24, 2009: You may not count this as a update but a little thing to catch you all up. On January 14 the wolves were taken off the endangered list. Then on January 16 and offical hunting season of them was set up. Wolf lovers and inviromentalist are worried for this could end up to a total of 1,000 wolves being killed this year! That is a chance but it could be somewhere close to that.
